New Year resolutions

I am going to produce a catalogue of wedding/party soap favours.I was approached recently by a wedding co ordinator re: producing favours.This has inspired me no end & I am in the proces of gathering all the trimmings,pretty bags etc...& making my own boxes for the purpose of presenting my gorgeous handmade soaps.I will post pics as soon as I have them ready.
Also this comming year I would like to hold soap making workshops as well as raw food workshops which I started presenting this year & really enjoy.
On the music front Ray & I want to promote our 50´s rock n roll band the Teds & have the band become more high profile in other areas of the Algarve.We already have a great following here in the Western Algarve .See website www.the-teds.com for pics,videos & info on the band.

First Blog

Thought I´d keep everyone updated on events etc... by making a blog.As some of you know,I am now part of a co operative of 5 artisans in our ARTAVIVA shop in Lagos which we opened in October.We´ve had a hugely successful lead up to Xmas & are now planning wonderful things for 2012 season.I am looking forward to developing new Soap recipes in January.(I have lots of ideas buzzing around in my head to inspire my customers with)
Meanwhile my musical life is gearing up for the New Years bash with our 50´s rock n roll band The Teds ,Venue is Quinta Dos Areoes, Espiche.Rehearsals tonight & Friday night to refine some new songs before the big day Saturday.
